The Kitsap Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America is located in Kitsap County, Washington. The chapter is an affiliate of the Military Officers Association of America. Both the Kitsap Chapter and MOAA are nonpartisan entities sharing the mission to "advocate for our military community and connect it to the nation we serve."

<<<<    You don’t have to be retired to join MOAA’s ranks!    >>>>

Membership is open to active duty, retired, National Guard, Reserve, former commissioned officers and warrant officers of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, U.S. Public Health Service and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Auxiliary memberships also are available for surviving spouses of deceased officers. The Chapter solicits members from Kitsap County, Jefferson County and Northern Mason County.

The Chapter provides an opportunity to renew old acquaintances and friendships, stay up to date on local and national issues through guest speakers at Chapter monthly social functions and an opportunity for sustained military camaraderie.

The Chapter regularly meets the fourth Friday of the month except in July and November when there is no meeting. The other exceptions are Armed Forces day in May, the annual picnic in August and the holiday luncheon in December.

The Armed Forces Day Luncheon is a special time to honor all those who have served and are currently serving in the military to protect this great country. The Kitsap Chapter of MOAA also recognizes the outstanding junior officers from the commands in Kitsap County.
